This is to inform the general public that the waec result of May/June 2018/2019 has been released, all the candidates who sat for the examination can now check their waec results online using waec result checker guideline on this blog through this post.

WAEC made this announced officially and the results of the may/june 2018/2019 waec is now available on the waec website. The candidates that are concerned are by this notice urged to go to the waec official website to check and print their results respectively.

In the case of any difficulty please contact the appropriate helplines. Don’t let anyone scam you with the pretense of being a waec official.

Checking your WAEC 2019 / WASSCE May/June 2019 or Nov/Dec result in Nigeria?

Please kindly follow the laid down procedure religious to check your waec result irrespective of the country you sat for the waec examination. Visit WAEC official website page: www.waecdirect.org. Make sure you do not misspell it by writing WACE or www.wacedirect.org.

  1. Input your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number e.g. 4041567945)

 2. Input the 4 digits of your Examination Year e.g. 2019

3. Select the Type of Examination: (May/June or Nov/Dec WASSCE)

4. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.

5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card

6. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up

The PIN stands for Personal Identification Number. In WAECDIRECT, it is a distinctive 10-digit or 12-digit number that is required to access the service. The service enables direct access to a candidate’s results via multiple channels. The PIN is usually conceal on the reverse side of the WAECDIRECT scratch card, scratch off the silver panel softly to reveal the hidden PIN

  • What is a WAEC Scratch card?

A Scratch card is a plastic card with a scratch patch on the reverse side that conceals a PIN required to access the WAECDIRECT service. It is usually written boldly WAECDIRECT to differential it from other scratch card.

  • Where can I buy a WAEC Scratch card?

A Scratch card may be purchased at the National Office of WAEC located in all the 36 states of the country including the FCT Abuja. It can also be bought from any of the branch offices of Fountain Trust Bank Plc nationwide.

  • How many times can I check my WAEC results?

You may check your results up to a maximum of 5 (five) times with the use of 1 (one) Scratch card. In order to check further after exhausting the allowed 5 (five) times you will need to purchase another Scratch card which will entitle you to another 5 (five) result checks.

No! You may only use one Scratch card to check one result. To check another result of your choice, you will have to buy a new Scratch card. Do not attempt to use one scratch to check more than one result as you may be penalized.
